Intel had earlier announced that they will be shifting the driver support for 10th generation and older Intel processors to a legacy software support model. Intel will now be publishing 2 drivers simultaneously, where one will apply to the older generation processors, and the other one will be targeted at the newer ones. The DCH driver version 31.0.101.2111 will apply to those older generations, whereas the driver version 31.0.101.3430 will be installed if you have the 11th or 12th generation processors. Since the announcement, the older generation processors have remained on the 31.0.101.211 driver version and have not been updated. With these improvements in version 31.0.101.3430, no improvements have been made to version 31.0.101.2111. That said, there are some known issues with this release.
